I mean I was on FanFiction yesterday, okay I'm on it most days but thats irrelevant and I was in the Yu-Gi-Oh sections after celebrating the fact it was finally on Netflix and came across some ships. I had watched Yu-Gi-Oh when it was on TV from a young age and no I didn't know what shipping was back then (Oh the innocent days) and lived on happily until the age of 13 until I found out what shipping/pairings were and yeah it went downhill from there... However I'm way off topic! As I was saying before my mini rant about the old days I came across a few ships, some more stranger then others, however I'm not going to judge my some of my ships are strange as well... Though Yugi and Yami? Puzzleshipping, that I'm still trying to get my head around. What I'm trying to say, it's got quite a few ships to go with it's series.
^Yeah, I'm still trying to get my head around this one... But hey, if it floats your boat as long as your boat isn't the Titanic it's fine.
However what I am about to go on about is something that was to me actually that could have been so spectacular and then it was just ripped away from us... Well me anyway, and I'm sure a few of you out there will agree.
I mean you should already know what I'm going to be talking about it's the ship of Scoopshipping! Is where you pair up Carly and Jack from Yu-Gi-Oh 5DS.
I don't know how many of you have watched the dubbed or the subbed and let me tell you if you haven't watched the subbed you might be a little confused at part of this blog because what they put in the dubbed is not what happens in the subbed. Yes I was guilty of watching the dubbed for a quite a while so I didn't know about this either so don't be worried.
So yes, for the first time in the whole of every Yu-Gi-Oh series, gx/5ds and the other (AS far as I know and can remember...) There have been too characters in Love, you might be able to prove me wrong and okay Pegasus loved his wife but she really wasn't in the the show. Family love really doesn't count either... So yes as much as I can remember this is the first time I had seen two characters in love and they even admitted it!
Okay the situation wasn't great but damn.
And this was Jack, if Jack Atlas found someone he loved, especially with his personality then yes Carly must have been something special and even if you have watched the series in dubbed you must have been able to see he had some kind of feelings for her, even if they were of friendship.
In the dubbed you don't see this, I think if I can remember rightly it's something about friendship (Oh why am I not surprised) I would have linked it to you if I remember where I'd actually watched it in the first place.
So yes everyone happy, okay maybe not since Carly was technically dead, falling through the glass roof hadn't helped much and well was now a dark signer and duel Jack and went throught the whole, this is how it could be faze and then the I love you and I want to save you faze (It was so cute!)
AWW!!!
Then what happens next? Well Jack win the duel because of some speech about how he was selfish and the effects f changing destiny and because Carly got to pick.. So yeah Jack won! Carly was eventually brought back to life...
Well it's Yu-Gi-Oh no really tends to die... Besides *Inserts list of dead characters* Oh and Pegasus's wife! You might ask why I keep on picking on the poor guy? WELL THAT BECAUSE HE HIRED THE PARADOX BROTHERS! Oh how I hated them two, and their appearance in GX and I still do!
Anyway, so the good guys win and Jack and Carly can go live happily ever after right?
No.
Apparently not because Carly doesn't remember her time as a dark signer... Poor Jack. So alas he tries to act the same and does a pretty good job. Which is okay because then they can start again? Right?
No. Nope, no.
Love rivals!
Ah, great so not only does Carly not remember Jack pronouncing his love, so now he doesn't act like it she now has competition! So now that Carly has rivals she starts to try and get his attention! Yay go Carly!
Okay, I might add this happens in between all of the awesome duels that happens in 5ds.
So at least at the end of the series they must get together right?
....NO THEY DON'T!
Jack just drives off leaving all three of them their, the three being the girls who either love or fancy him, that includes Carly!
WHY!?
You showed Jack loves her and you just let him drive off... Not only that he turned her down to go travel with him! Give me a break!
...o.o...
TT_TT <Thats my crying face....
Anyone else think that the one love story in Yu-Gi-Oh should work out?! IT WAS ALMOST CANNON THAT IT'S CANNON! <That doesn't even make sense!
...
...
Anyone else out their ship this? Pleaseeeeeee tell me you agree with this?
Anyway so after this "adventure" of feels I ended up on fanfiction where Scoopshipping is forever real and Jack and Carly can live happily ever after!
OH AND JACK! WHAT THE HELL WAS WITH THAT HAT!?
^^"
Hi, I wanderer around and just see this post. Not sure if you would see my comment now. I want to tell you that I‘m so agree with you TT_TT
ReplyDeleteI watched YGO 5D‘s few years ago. Carly was my fav character and I still love her when I re-watched the series today. It seemed they simply cut off their relationship from the 2nd season on... how and what the hell? They built up the bond between two characters but cut it off at once? Holy hell my heart was broken.....
Now I am starting to think about writing fanfic or drawing them again... T.T
I know it's a little late, but I need to let it out. I just recently watched Yu-Gi-Oh 5Ds (no thanks to GX who made me lost my YGO appetite for a few years after finally recovered) and, yes! I totally agree with you, this is the first real ship in YGO world. Even as I found Kaiba with Kisara (Blue Eyes)'s ship rather cute, they never actually declare their love to each other, but Jack and Carly took this to a whole new level. Not only the word 'aisuru' (love (verb), is the highest form of expression of love in Japanese) actually came out of Jack's mouth, Carly also declared 'daisuki' (which actually equals to 'love' in English, just a little under 'aisuru') to Jack. I still couldn't get over the fact that they drop these two like hot potatoes and started running away reading fanfics about them, and occasionally draw their fanart (I rarely draw fanart, so, when I feel the urge to draw one, it's usually because I'm irked with what reality offers). So, yeah, you're not alone. We're sailing on the same ship! :p have a good day and cheers!
